Irish Dreams Mix Media Canvas Tutorial By Ridhima Sharma

Hello There!
I am Ridhima Sharma from Boulevard Arts and today I am going to make this beautiful Irish Dreams Mix Media Canvas with amazing products from CarftJunction.

I used a large wooden frame canvas measuring 24x18 inches. I used teal and rose color as my basic theme and worked according to that.

To start with, I choose 2 colored printed 12” sheets and pasted it on the canvas. Then I used CraftJunction’s clear gesso to cover the whole surface so that the color and brightness of the base stay put. I added some texture using a stencil of my choice and texture paste.

I randomly added texture all over the base of the canvas, keeping in mind the final composition that I want. Then I used CraftJunction’s Chalk paints in Irish eyes, marvelous mauve and rose bush to add depth to the base.

For more interesting element, I added a few more printed sheets with the same color theme but made sure to distress their edges. For embellishments, I used plaster of Paris (POP) embellishments first covering them with heavy white gesso and then coloring them with swan white, in Irish eyes, marvelous mauve and rose bush chalk paints in pastel theme.

For more beauty, I used textured Inca gold sandstones with Irish eyes chalk paint, mixed them and applied it over a leaf die-cut which gives it a beautifully textured look. I also added handmade paper flowers, MDF window, hand-cut flowers and leaves, leather motifs, tassels, cabochons, cotton lace, textured stones, natural grass, wooden chips, mini glass bottle, and other interesting elements. I used CraftJunction’s new mini stencil as well.

Hi there! So today I am going to share this wonderful slider table decor that you are gonna love. I made this for my mother on Mother’s day and she was totally mesmerized by it. I will be showing you what material I used in this card.

So first I used mostly heartfelt creations Diecuts. I used elegant pocket accents, which is delicate and beautiful. I used my Sizzix foldaway die cutting machine to die cut from white cardstock.

I used eyelet oval and basics large die for the main card base. Also, I used ornate pocket accents die set.

I used spellbinders filigree die set cut from white cardstock.

I used Dress my Craft smooth black cardstock for the card with 400 gsm. This is an amazing paper with a sturdy and smooth finish to it.
I used Dress My Craft Round Banner punch to make the tags for the card.

For the flowers I used classic rose stamp, diecut, and mold set along with Dress My Craft floral oriental collection paper, rainbow glitter and white flower pearls.

For the flowers, I used archival inks in pink peony, vibrant fuchsia, leaf green and carnation red color.

Ornate Rose birthday card with tags

Here is another beautiful Birthday card with handmade roses. I made these roses in pastels and kept the whole theme of the card in pastel shades. The card full of beauty and surprise of tags, this is a perfect gift for your loved ones.

To start with, I used Heartfelt Creations Classic rose stamp and die. I stamped the images of roses with tea rose archival ink and used olive archival ink to stamp leaves.
Then I colored each petal front and back with bundled sage distress ink for the leaves and tattered rose distress ink for the rose petals with sponge finger daubers. These give the petals a beautiful pastel color.
To shape the rose petals and leaves, you can also use rose shaping molds by Heartfelt Creations. I used the mold as well as Heartfelt Creations flower shaping deluxe tool kit to shape the flowers.
I also used the Ornate pocket accent die for the base of the card.
After shaping the flowers, I added mini art stones by Cadence in the center of the flower along with rainbow sparkling glitter by Dress My Craft.
The inside of the card has one long pocket with floral embellishments and I used three tags to put in the pocket. These tags are perfect to write your sentiments as well as you can put some pictures too.

Enchanted Gold Lilacs Thankyou Card By Boulevard arts

Another beautiful slimline card, with romantic golden lilacs and beautiful cage. A wonderful way to say Thank you with this beautiful card.
All the products used in this card are mentioned below. This card is full of delicate flowers made with Heartfelt Creations lush lilacs series stamps and die-cuts.

The cage in the card is cut from smooth black cardstock from Dress My Craft. I also used rainbow glitter on the cage and flowers to give it a sparkly look.
The die cut word THANKS was given extra 3d glossy look by using glossy accents. glossy accents is great for such highlights and also for adhering sequins, beads, glitter and pearls to the project.

Lawn Fawn ‘Always’ Slimline Card by Boulevard Arts

I am so excited to show you guys this amazing card I made recently for Lawn Fawn challenge #48 ‘Inspired by a book, movie, song’.

I made this card inspired by ‘Harry Potter’ books and movies. The current lawn fawn challenge is so exciting and fun, I couldn’t hold back myself and made this beauty.

I used several dies from lawn fawn to make this beautiful scene. I love these slimline cards which give perfect space to create a scene like this.

The size of the base measures 3 ¼” x 9 ½”. I made another layer to put over the card base. To make the sky, I used distress inks Broken China and Seedless Preserves along with jet black archival ink.

I used the ink blending tool to blend the inks perfectly and sprayed some water over it to give it distress look.

I used lawn fawn bicycle built for you stamp set to make prof. Snape in the scene. With some alteration, I completed the character and fussy cut it.

To create the landscape, I used stitched hillside border, forest border, and grassy border. I distressed all the borders with distress and archival inks.

To make the Hogwarts, I used critters ever after stamp set and stamped the castle and Hippogriff buckbeak for the scene.

I used Dress my Craft Christmas die and die cut the deer patronous.

I also used a few other stamps like mushroom from fairy friends stamp set, clouds from plane and simple stamp set and shooting star and moon from winter village stamp set.

This card was so much fun to make. Thankyou so much for stopping by. I love these long cards and so happy with the final result. Hope you liked it too.
